First Day In Thailand Part I

Okay, so eto na ang story..

We left the house sa laguna nang 3:00am. My cousin ate arlene and her husband ang naghatid sa akin sa airport. Kasama ko si hubbee at sister ko. Habang nasa sasakyan, ang bigat sa dibdib. Ganun pala ang feeling. Nag-skyway pa kami, nadaanan ang Tribeca. Naluha ako. Hay! I'm leaving na nga. Nag-sink in na nang sobra sobra. Pinipigilan kong umiyak. Di pala madali ang umalis nang bansa for good. Shet!

Ate arlene is the closest cousin of mine. Then I tapped hubbee's back and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Kahit gusto kong maglumpasay siya sa sahig. Haha. Pinaalis ko na sila. Baka bumagsak na ang luha ko!

After checking in my bag, eto na, immigration na. For sure kasi, haharangin daw ako. Doon ako kinakabahan. Kaya di ko masyado kinukwento itong Thailand plan kasi baka mamaya di ako makalusot, mukha lang akong tanga. Hehe.

Nangyari na nga ang inaasahan. The old-looking immigration guy officer doubted my entry to Thailand. He looked for my company ID. Eh wala ako nun. He asked for my passport, return ticket, and I gave him the authenticated letter of sponsorship. Bakit daw 30 days. Ayun na. He then brought me to a desk with another officer. They asked me to fill out a form.

While filling out the form, the lady officer approached me and started the casual interrogation. When I asked her if this is the normal process (as part of my strategy), sabi niya sa akin, oo at mahigpit daw sila. Sabi ko I have been to some countries pero bakit ngayon ko lang na-experience ito. She checked my passport, wala siyang masyadong nakitang tatak. She asked me if I have another passport. Good thing I brought my old passport. To cut the long story short, my old passport saved me. Nakita kasi yung tatak ko for my US and other asian travel.

Whew!

Pasok na. Grabe yung hinga ko nun. Then waited for my flight na lang. Then nag-sink in ulit na eto na nga ito talaga. Meant to happen. Tapos the weather was good pa after days of hard rain. The flight was on time. It left 6:35am and I arrived 8:55am Thailand time. I will continue the story on what happened to me on my first day in Thailand...
